The essentials of what you need to make the most efficient use of your computer using MS Office 2007. You will learn file management, create folders, sub folders, copy folders as used for saving multiply of files. Copy, move & delete to keep your computers up to date with out a lot of outdated material. Write letters, address the envelopes and print them all. You will learn how to send and receive e-mail and how to send a letter or resume as an e-mail attachment. In class you will receive attachments, file them on the hard drive and print them out. We will download and use pictures from the internet. An additional materials fee is payable to the teacher.

You should have familiarity with at least one part. With that we can look at some of the intermediate functions involving two or three applications in one document. Want to make your good photos into great photos? Do you want to know how to airbrush skin, or put someone on a different background? Come and learn the tricks to retouch photos like a pro. In this hands-on class you will be using Gimp (a free, Open Source photo editor) to do professional level photo editing. In addition to learning this powerful program, we will cover some basics as well -- lighting, composition, basic camera usage, and putting your photos online.
