| ANDALUSIA AND PENNSBURY MANOR Our first stop will be Andalusia, the home of the Craig - Biddle families from 1795 to the 1970?s. Beginning as a simple farm house, the home was expanded many times; but, most noteworthy is its Greek Revival facade of the 19th century designed by Benjamin Latrobe, the first architect of the U.S. Capital. The house is surrounded by beautiful vistas and landscapes. Then we will have lunch at the charming Brick House in Tullytown. After lunch we will tour Pennsbury Manor, the reconstructed country plantation of William Penn. Oriiginally built in 1683, the house contains one of the finest collections of 17th Century furniture. Other features on the property include a herb garden, bake and brew house, blacksmith and Joiner?s shops.Price includes admissions and tours, lunch and bus transportation from the Keith Valley Middle School, 227 Meetinghouse Rd.
