| This class is an introduction to making jewelry, including materials, tools, techniques and tips, local and on-line suppliers. Learn to create bracelets, necklaces, multi-strand techniques. The first class will discuss materials, tools and techniques. If time allows, we will make a simple bracelet. Kits will be available for purchase for the first class (about $10) and tools will be available for class use. Or, bring beading wire, crimp tubes, crimping pliers, cutters, beading mat, beads of your choice sufficient to make a bracelet, and clasp to the first class. | Learn Odd-count tubular peyote, Even-count flat peyote, Square, Herringbone and Right-angle weave stitches. You will make a bracelet in each stitch. Bring two or three colors of 8/0 seed beads (you can use 11/0s, but 8/0s are easier to begin with), beading thread or 6# Fireline, needles, scissors, magnification and light (optional) to the first class.
